If you need surgery, I will perform a preoperative exam, usually on the same day or within 24 hours. It may include an electrocardiogram, a chest x-ray, a lung examination, lab tests, an echocardiogram or an exercise test. A report will be sent directly to your surgeon, surgical center, or hospital.
